About the Studio

AetherEngine Labs is an independent studio building narrated fiction from real research. Every project starts in the record — folklore, history, testimony — and builds outward from there.

The studio's first project is The Hunter Tapes, a narrated monster-of-the-week series built on real-world folklore. More projects are in development.

What we make

Short-form narrated video essays. Each one opens a file on one subject, lays out what the record actually says, and lets you decide what to do with it. The research is the spine; the narration is the delivery; the audience gets the evidence, not a verdict.
